Custom Made Products
If you are unable to achieve an accurate fit with an off the shelf product, or you want a variation of a standard product then it may be appropriate to order a custom product. This is generally a simple process involving a few days turnaround. We can also discuss entirely new products, making same if practicable.
Our Brands
Walrus markets its orthopaedic products under the Bodyworks, Bracewear and Bodytechnic brands.
Development
We pride ourselves on the close working relationship we have built up over the years with orthotists and other health professionals both in New Zealand and overseas. This relationship has played a vital role in the ongoing development of our products within New Zealand.
Export
We export to many parts of the world, including Australia, Asia, North America, Mexico, Japan, United Kingdom and Europe.
Service & Delivery
Walrus stock line products are available ex-stock ensuring that we can offer a quick, “off the shelf” response. Also, because the majority of our products are made in our Auckland factory we are able to offer a prompt and efficient alteration and custom-made service to orthotists, providing efficiency in both time and cost.
Regulatory Requirements & Quality Assurance
Walrus orthopaedic products are made in accordance with the design and manufacture requirements of the European Union Medical Device Directive (93/42/EEC) for class 1 products and have been registered with WAND and PEHNZ.
